The PDI Big Boss turbocharger takes the Cummins ISM and M11 beyond stock output. A 360 degree thrust bearing handles the added load and keeps the shaft stable under hard pulls, while an improved exhaust housing moves gas more efficiently through the turbine side.

The result on the road is sharper throttle response and cooler exhaust gas temperatures — the turbo comes up quicker when you get into it, and the engine stays out of the heat range that costs you fuel and hardware on long grades. It is a practical step up for owners who want more out of the ISM platform without moving to a full performance build.
