This is a Performance Turbo for a Detroit 12.7 or a Cummins ISX conversion under 500HP. It features a Titanium Compressor Wheel — titanium being a heavier, more robust metal than aluminum. This makes the wheel significantly more resistant to foreign debris and helps eliminate turbo surge. Because the wheel is heavier, it carries more inertia and continues spinning longer when you let off the throttle, eliminating the common issue in the heavy-duty space where turbos fail due to turbo surge.

This heavier compressor wheel is paired with a thicker internal shaft. Together, these two upgrades are what make the Titanium Series turbos excel in heavy-duty applications — striking the ideal balance between performance and durability.
