Texas Power spacer plate for Caterpillar 3406E, C15, and C16 engines, offered in standard .338" plus undersize .336", .335", and .334". Installing a new spacer plate during an overhaul or any time the cylinder head comes off ensures the engine seals properly.

When to use an undersize spacer plate: If the block has been lock deck machined, it sits shorter than stock. Use the appropriate thinner undersize plate to restore correct liner protrusion geometry. If your block has not been machined, standard .338" is the correct choice.
